i bought a Battle Ship game for the 6 yo boy, a Diego flannel blanket/play mat for the 4 yo boy, and a stuffed frog holding a frog and flower print flannel blanket for the 2 yo girl. they were about 12-15 dollars each. i love these kids and treat them like family (i spent about $200 on the rest of my family), but my sister (20) was all "that's just too much" on me. i just took the presents over to their house and the kids were ecstatic. the younger boy got out of all his Diego toys and had him a mini adventure on the mat, and the girl couldn't stop hugging the frog, and the oldest wanted me to sit down and play with him almost immediately. i don't think i spent too much (i mean, keep in mind each of them got me a present, lip gloss, lip balms, and body wash. and their parents gave me a $20 gift card to Target) .do you think i spent too much on them?

No,I don't know why people ask this question.
There is only one question that you have to ask yourself when you buy something "Can you afford it?" If the answer is yes, then it isn't to much.
If you have to use credit cards, then you probably shouldn't be buying stuff that you don't need.

I hate when people say "Isn't that to much" when I am shopping for my kids--maybe, but I can afford it and enjoy giving them things.

You did a wonderful thing! Be proud, you put a smile on their little faces and it gave you a good feeling to give these gifts to the children.

if you think about it it's really not that much.

money is money , it goes it's comes

it's not every day you have a reason to give gifts to those kids and see them happy like that

I don't think so. It's your money and if you really love the kids then you should be able to spend your money how you want to.
