Before assuming it is just a slow down due to winter, please have it vet checked by an experienced reptile vet. Has it been checked for parasites? It could have mouth rot or respiratory illness and these things should be ruled out as well. Make sure your temps are correct and that there have been no change of impaction due to ingestion of substrate. Make sure he is not dehyrated.

The best thing to do is call a pet store that sells snakes. We have a burmese python, for a few years he would go up to 4-6 months each year without eating. As he got older and bigger, now 9 1/2 feet , he eats all year around and is about 3-4 yrs old. Between 1-3 yrs old he went into a long cycle from fall until spring before he would eat again. I am sure age and type of boa would play a roll in his schedule.
