She just stays home and plays World of Warcraft all day.

thats so wrong. He should trust his wife, because if he doesn't, then what kind of relationship is that? Marriage = trust. He should be able to trust her and not hire some spy. Thats invading her life.

There is snooping ... then there is "snooping".

Hiring someone to spy on her acitivities for the length of time he is gone ... is too much. This sounds more like stalking. If I were her .. and I found out he had hired someone to spy on my activities .. especially if I was innocent & not doing a thing ... he would be the one to get a big surprise. What he is doing is also a type of invasion of her privacy .. and personal affairs.

He should respect her more than to hire someone to spy on her.

If he had major-major reasons to check her out .. then that would be ok ... but when he found out - he should have confronted her about it. However - if she has never done anything to make his suspicious of her .. then she really does not deserve this ... and he is way wrong.

Well, I think there are some issues in the marriage if he has hired somebody to spy on his wife. Usually the person doing the spying has a reason....because they are cheating themselves and will feel much more justified if the spouse is cheating, too. It is a "me too" attitude. I hope she divorces him when he comes home for not trusting her.

If your friend's husband hired someone while he is away and she probably knows about it then there is no way that she will do anything wrong while he is gone. Your friend's husband must have trust issues that he needs to deal with. If she is doing something wrong then she can still do them when he gets back.

I don't agree with him spying on her...Either he has a guilty conscience or she has given him some reason to not trust her...Either way the both need to open the communication lines or this marriage might not make it..He has more things to worry about over there than his wife cheating..If he is preoccupied with this he might get himself into trouble..By not paying as good attention as he should be.

Where there is suspicions in a relationship, there is also the element on not much trust either. Clearly they need to communicate and he needs to raise his concerns to her if he suspects there is a change in the relationship or even if she is cheating, surely it is better to know than to be tormented not knowing! My love does'nt hurt! And there is so much more to a relationship than just loving someone - afterall there is good love and bad love! No one is worth making you unhappy or miserable! You have one life to live..

He must of had reason to snoop, i hope that he never found anything that hurt him though but sometimes people just need to know they are secure.

It's not nice. Sometimes necessary. If he thinks there's something going on he should wait until he get's back.

Maybe not wrong but not very trusting. Still he might have good reason.
