He actually knows a lot about football, if you read his writing or watch him on PYTI. It's called a foil. He is playing against Jaws vast football knowledge. Think about it this way, if he really doesn't know anything how does he manage to ask the "right" dumb question at the "right" time. As opposed to Gumble on NFL Network who constantly asks a question or makes a statement that is in conflict with his co-host

He just rambles on and on. The problem with MNF is announcers are never paying attention to the game. I would like to hear some talk of strategy, but all they do is bumble and ramble.

I don't like him much either. He can never seem to focus on the game and what's going on. He always goes over things that I've heard about on his Pardon the Interuption show with Mike Wilbon I heard earlier in the day. And once he gets going, URGH! He can't stop.
