You can't really. One really nasty troll will have several Yahoo! accounts. When you post something the troll disagrees with, the troll will report you under each of the accounts. According to the Yahoo rule, if multiple people (each account is considered one person) report you then IT MUST BE offensive, they remove your post, and send you a violation message. Of course its only one nasty troll making a fuss but Yahoo doesn't investigate too closely.

I get a lot of what the 1st answerer gets. Wacky stuff going through but violation Notices for mundane stuff.
Until YA! let people know who their accusers are and anonimity is not guaranteed, then idiots will keep on messing up other peoples accounts by reporting stuff 'for fun'.
It sucks!

There really isn't any way to defend yourself from trolls, I don't think. Sorry you are having problems, some people just don't have anything better to do. I would offer you a fruitcake, but you asked for serious answers only. Happy Holidays. =)

We've all asked ourselves the same question and I wish I could help . The only reason I answered is so I can come back and see if there is a solution.

I really don't know they just sent me a violation too, just try to watch what kind of questions you ask or what kind of words you use in your answers.
