I'm buying a new adapter for my laptop and the one I'm getting has the same voltage as my current adapter...But the Amps are different. Does it matter.....can I still use an adapter with different amps?

Thanks.

I was under the impression that the amps had to be the same otherwise you could fry the laptop. I would make sure they are the same.
