The answer to your first question is Firefox is very safe. As to why Internet Explorer is saying the file is corrupted, chances are that an error occurred during the download and the file is corrupted. You need to download Firefox again.

i use firefox all the time and my computer is just fine, so yes it's safe. as to your second question, most likely the download was cut short or something, so it would show up as corrupted. you'll have to download it again.

If IE is prompting about the installer file itself being corrupt, try download it again. Otherwise, FX beats IE in security, stability and customizability hands down. Check out the addons/extensions that help to block ads, javascripts and malicious stuff all around.

No, I don't think it is safe. It is very slow browser explorer. You are right! I download it but it was curropted.... and since then my pc also work slowly than usual.... I am really going to format my computer and never instalall it again

Firefox is better than IE. And you know what...I think it's IE that's corrupted. (But did you get it from the mozilla website? If you got it from somewhere else it may not be the same thing)
