I made a very small ham. Didn't do much though as I'm not feeling well.

We went to see his movie called Across the Universe, thinking it was about astronomy and that our 14 year old son would find it interesting, but boy were we surprised!!

After the movie, which was way different, we went out for some of the best Chinese in Berkeley. Happy Yule from the Bay Area in Calif!

I made some tamales, solanka, pelmeni, vareniki and salad. With Kumi to drink. Even though I don't celebrate any holidays some of my family members do. So I made some of their favourite dishes.

Heh.
Believe it or not, but I've only ever heard of 'clam chowder.'

Happy Hanukkah to you!

We're having Fried Chicken tonight. Last night, at my grandparents' house, we had lasagna. Tomorrow, we're having pancakes in the morning at my aunt's. And probably ham for dinner at my great grandma's house.

we had tofurkey (tofu not turkey) and eggplant lasagna, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie with whipped cream, big salad, rolls with butter, cranberry sauce, and offered it all to Krishna first. It was so delicious and karma free too. Prasad is so satisfying (food prepared and offered to God.)

My wife Cecellia always had that, rowing up in South Dakota. But she never cooks it for me.

Cece probably got tired of it, like her dad got tired of turnips every meal, in a WWII prisoner of war camp, and never ate them again!
