NORAD has been tracking Santa Claus for as long as they have had a radar. Sure it's campy entertainment for little children, but it also is a pallet clenser when you want to get the little ones to go to bed so you can do your Santa gig.

Make sure you eat only part of the cookie and drink most of the milk and leave the evidence Santa was there.

How many cookies did I have to eat during four kids growing up.

It also gives NORAD a chance to make Al-Queda wonder who they are talking about.

Yes it is true. I just saw a program about Santa on the Biography channel and they said he is really being tracked by NORAD!!! Coool!! They also said you can log on to their web site and see where he is! Honest!!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

yes, they have a site set up and everything. NORAD started doing this because years ago a telephone number was printed in a newspaper that said kids could call and find out where Santa was, and they misprinted the number, and it happened to be NORAD's number kids were calling

No. They use the same footage every year and just estimate his position based on reports from Air Traffic Controllers.

All that tracking business stopped after they made him install a transponder in '86.
