Whenever my Father talks to me about stuff, I can't look him in the eye. I wasn't raised that way or anything -- I have always been taught that I am just as good as anyone, etc.

But unless I am talking to my Dad about something really trivial, like what's for dinner, I have a hard time keeping eye contact.

I find that I generally struggle make and maintain eye contact with everyone except my Mom and boyfriend.

Hiding a secret? Do you lie to him often? Subconsciously scared of him for one reason or another? Only you could really answer this question.

Maybe you feel safest around your mom and your boyfriend. Not maintaining eye contact is an instinctual way to defend yourself since well they say that the eyes are a window to the soul...sorry i had to throw in that cheesy line
