Why isn't "Girl" on the Beatles #1 cd?
Does anyone have a logical explaination?
I think it should be...

Because The Beatles # 1 disc is composed of songs that made it to #1 on the charts. "Girl", which I absolutely agree is a great song did not hit #1 on the charts.

Because it didn't make it to No. 1. The Beatles No. 1 CD is mainly all their No. 1 hits.

"Girl" wasn't released as a single until the "Love Songs" album in 1977, twelve years after the song was originally released on the "Rubber Soul" album. As mentioned previously, it failed to reach #1.

because the people who produced the CD didnt think it should be? everyone may have their favourite song, doesnt mean it should be on there!
