I don't have a cello tuner so i used my guitar tuner to tune my cello. I don't know if it works and anyone tell me?

Ok, the fact that it's a guitar tuner has nothing to do with how low of a note it will pick up.

Your only problem will be if the tuner only tunes to the notes of the guitar open strings, EADGBE. If this is the case, you won't be able to use the tuner to tune your C string. However, an A is an A (when it comes to stringed instruments), so with this exception, it should be no problem.

Yeah it will work fine but the guitar tuner may not pick up the C string because it's too low. If the guitar tuner doesn't pick up the sound initially, play the string with your bow and then take your bow off but let the note ring, the tuner should pick it up.

It should work. Those tuners measure vibration. If the vibration of the strings is the same as a guitar then it will work fine.

Give it a try and find out.

Should do, depending on what kind of tuner it is. If it just works on guitar notes it will be trickier, but if it gives the full range of notes, no problem. Hope this helps.

If your tuner has a bass mode, use that. That will compensate for the thickness of the strings.

Why wouldn't it? If you break a string you'll know. If you can't tune it any other way, better to try and fail than to never have tried at all.

Just tune it to itself
