A Christmas Carol, the Alastair Sim version.

The spirit of Dickens and the spirit of Christmas shine through this movie which is both a tearjerker and incredibly joyful. If you haven't seen it, you've really missed something.

Used to always get played on Christmas Eve; have no idea why it doesn't anymore. (Because it's b/w that hasn't been colorized? What an awfully silly reason!)

A good show to watch is any Home Alone series, The Holiday, The Sound of Music (I was watching it at home since I was too exhausted to go for Midnight mass after a long day at work, or even this Christmas morn's mass) or if there is nothing nice to watch, just read your Bible. Last year, I didn't have to stick to the boring ol' Telly because I get to go for Midnight Mass with my friend. Before, we went for a dinner in a shopping complex and watched the Christmas Eve football league of EPL (English Premiere League) on satellite TV. Also, we went to watch a carolling so beautiful at the atrium.

It's a Wonderful Life

Being an ole timer - am 73 - and having seen countless films about Christmas, I have to go with "It's A Wonderful Life".

I've seen it countless times, and it's still a "tear jerkier" for me: quite long, but a wonderful cast, wonderfully written, wonderfully directed: the title is so apt, so appropriate: "Wonderful" everything.

Are my eyes loosing their integrity? "Texas Chainsaw Massacre"? I don't think that's very funny: sick, sick, sick!
