Merry Christmas everyone!

However, I am sick with a cold (I think) and it's Christmas Eve. I really want to get better by tomorrow morning since it's Christmas. This has really blew away my Christmas spirit. :( Anyways, are there any easy tips to getting rid of a cold soon/getting better sooner? Thanks and happy holidays everyone.

Vitamin C with rose hips has gotten rid of colds for me. I start out taking about 1000 mg on the hour, then start cutting back. It does not build up in your system, so it won't harm you. Another idea is Airborne, which you can also get at the pharmacy.

If you're in for the day, I'd park in bed with a gigantic glass of water and get as much rest as you can and as much water down you as you can. If you have juice, drink it, herbal tea, clear liquids. But rest, rest rest.

Hope you're better!

a easy way to get rid of a cold over night is to

eat lots of spicy foods

drink a lot of hot drinks mainly tea, beacuse this un clogs ur nose really fast, and if this fails rub some vicdsaf under neath and keep it there untill u can feel ur nose un stuffing

keep cold vegetables on ur head, this reduces fevers or headaches

I AM SO SORRY TO EHAR THAT U HAVE A COLD ON CHRISTMAS EVE!!! MY MOM DOES TO AND ITS THE WORST BUT SHES TRYING THIS STUFF AND SHES ACTUALLY LOOKING BETTER IT JSUT TOOK A LITTLE BIT OF TIME BUT THE RESULTS ARE WORTH IT!!!

There is no cure for the common cold, nor anything that speeds up its resolution. Take plenty of fluids + paracetamol for fever and discomfort.

Do not bother with lemons, honey, echinacea or vitamins, none of which reduce symptoms or knock 10 seconds of your cold!

Science says Chicken Soup does work. Open a can of Campbells and hope for the best! Make it hot. Merry Christmas in spite of the sniffles and Happy New Year!

Of course get lots of rest tonight and drink a lot of fluids (probably juice, but if you have a sore throat do not drink orange juice!) and take some clariton (mostly for stuffy or runny nose and coughing) or advil or anything similar to advil (for sore throat) And if you could you may also want to make a trip to the store and you can get some tea for the flu or if you have a cold it may not be the yummest thing though but it should help you feel better.

Have a save and happy holidays :)

That zycam stuff works really good. you stick the little qtip thing up your nose and it has zinc on it or something. Comtrex is also really good to make you feel better if you still feel bad tomorrow. Good luck, maybe santa will bring you a cold free day tomorrow!!

You can mask symtoms with "Thera-flu" or similar product...the reality is that you will not be much better in the am...Drink 1/2 of your body weight in ounces of high alkaline water and take 1000 mg of Vit. C per hour,as well as Grape Seed extract and N-Acetyl Cysteine.

They have those new nasal sprays that you're supposed to use at the first signs of a cold. Go to your nearest pharmacy/store and get some. They have many different brands. Good luck!
