i was reading on a website about the 2012 apocalypse that since 2012 is coming that these changes will occur withing the next 5 years.......
SOME POSSIBLE EFFECTS OF THE CHANGES.
* Migraine headaches, tiredness* Electrical sensations in the limbs and spinal column* Cramps in the muscular networks* Flu like symptoms* Intense dreams.* The human body will become more sensitive as a result of the new vibrations.
* The resonance of Earth has been 7.8Hz for thousands of years. Since 1980 it has risen to over 12Hz.
This means that 16 hours now equate to a 24 hour day. Time is speeding up!* The physical body has already begun to change. A new light body is being created.* Our DNA is being re-programmed from the Universe (as predicted in the Mayan Prophecy). We are going from 2 strand back to 12 strand DNA.
* Greater intuitive and healing abilities will emerge.* Eyes will become cat like in order to adjust to the new atmosphere and light.* All newly born children will probally be telepathc

Where on earth are you getting this claptrap?
Not one of those things has any basis in science.
(C'mon ... time is speeding up? 16 hours = 24 hours? DNA being "reprogrammed from the Universe"? ... Do you *really* need to ask on Yahoo Answers before you can see how absurd these statements are?)
PLEASE don't believe crap like this from web sites interested only in probing the gullibility of readers! It will only get you upset. It is bogus.

A lot of people who are very closed minded will say this is all bs! First more and more people are having migraines that last longer. Also there has recently been an article about super humans with more DNA strands and about how we've reached a peak. And as far as the intuitive and healing abilities and children being telepathic: I believe this. We as a race are becoming more and more intuitive. We are developing gifts of the 'supernatural' at an increasing rate. I know many with intuitive abilities. I know even more with cat like eye site. Most children i know born in the last century are telepathic and more. My proof: My son made his first clairvoyant prediction at the age of 5! It came true only minutes later. He's now about to turn 16. My 14 month old daughter is already showing signs of having abilities. So for those who believe this is all b.s. - bah humbug to you too. Open your eyes and see what is truly happening right before your blind eyes.

According to the Mayan calendar, the end of time will come on the winter solstice in 2012. There are a number of books written on the topic, and some movies have used this year for dramatic effect ("I Am Legend", "The Fountain").
Note carefully, that the Mayans refer to this as the end of TIME, not the end of the world; that is, a new way of thinking, or the emergence of a new world-consciousness.

The world was suppose to end in 1914 too and it is still here. Whatever you are reading is nonsense. There have been thousands of these kinds of predictions and none of them ever come true. Sometimes someone tries to twist a prediction around to fit something that has happened. But, most of the time after nothing happens, the believers just have to say they misinterpretted the "signs".

I'm not sure about the predictions but I do know that recently, I have had more people around suffering from an increase in cancer, migraine headaches, body soreness, arthritis, sinus trouble, and flu like symptoms. Meds don't seem to knock it out like it used to. Why? I couldn't tell ya.
