It is kind of hard to explain but the tune goes like: Laa La La Laaaa, Laa La La laaa. Then in a higher tone it keeps repeating laa la la laaa, laa la la laaa. It is usually played during the holidays, and is the back round music for some commercials.

I think, from your description, that it sounds like "The Carol of the Bells". The reason I say that is because it repeats the same phrase for quite a bit at the beginning, only it keeps moving to a higher range. There are no actual words to the song, but I have heard it performed acapella with different vocalizations used instead of the musical notes.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to add links from YouTube since they changed the format around, but I checked, and there are a variety of versions of it available on there. Take a look and see if it's the one you are asking about.

Good luck, and happy holidays!

(P.S. If it is "Carol of the Bells", it's one of my favorites!)

**EDIT**
If it is the right song, see if you can find either a Trans-Siberian Orchestra or a Mannheim Steamroller version of it--both are amazing.
