Your tone is bit hard on the peoples who are already suffering.

Morethan, anybody else SL Govt is the staunch supporter of LTTE and they are the ones helping the LTTE is survive the bitter war.
You know how,
1. LTTE is born, because of their "no tamils" attitude.
2. Most of the devastating equipments which LTTE possess
are looted from SL army.
3. During IPKF operation, SL military supplied the arms to LTTE.

YOU CANNOT BELIEVE LTTE ON PEACE TALKS and
YOU CANNOT BELIEVE SL GOVT for any PEACE SETTLEMENT. So, war goes on and devastation continues.

Overall, If you ask me I can believe LTTE but not SL government.

While there is no doubt that Tamil tigers are terrorists , there have been numerous instances when the SL army with and without the backing of the SL government has commited atrocities on Tamil civilians.

It is the duty of the government to ptotect the citizens against attackes by terrorist groups ike the LTTE. If they were citizens of that country how is it that they started using violence for demanding some rights from their government ? LTTE is a terrorist group. - agreed.
They are fighting for a cause which is meaningless today.
These people,known as Jaffna Tamils, have nothing to do with Indian Tamils of South India. They are as much Sri Lankans as the Sinhalese speaking people are.

There are Sri Lankans of Indian origin, who live among
the Sinhalese community peacefully and harmoniously with them. This community,today, has outnumbered the Jaffna Tamils., as Jaffna Tamils migrated to various Europeon countries,Canada & Australia. These Tamils will never
return to Jaffna , even if Jaffna becomes an independent
nation, for which the LTTE say they fight for.

Indian Tamils of Sri Lanka were born and brought up in
that country. They were the root cause for the development
of Sri Lankan economy .(Tea,Coconut,&Rubber plantations)

Jaffna Tamils were mostly bureaucrats during pre -independent days.

Jaffna Tamils were the cause to oust the Sri Lankan Indian
community and the Sri Lankan businessmen from Sri Lanka
immediately after Sri Lanka became independent.
With the support of the Jaffna Tamils, a legislation ,
Indian & Pakistani Citizenship Act , was passed by the
then Sri Lankan (Ceylon) Government. Almost all the Indian Tamils whose origin was Sri Lanka ,became stateless.
Jaffna Tamils were the controllers of Immgration & emigration, controllers of exchange, commissioners of Food & Agriculture . Solicitors, advocates,auditors,. Ambassdors and High Commissioners were
mostly Jaffna Tamils. Sinhalese were guided by these heartless people.
This act drove several lakhs of Sri Lankan Indians to India
seeking asylum. Businessmen lost their businesses.
Indians had to meet out innumerable troubles and problems in Sri Lanka.
Later Sinhalese woke up. They replaced the Jaffna bureaucrats with the Sinhalese.
Sinhalese are a majority community in Sri Lanka.
Infact they were and are very friendly with the Indians.

An agreement was arrived at , in between Srimavo Bandaranayake & Lalbhadur Shastri with regard to
the Sri Lankan Indian community. Large number of
Sri Lankan Indians returned to India stateless.on the basis of this agreement.

With the hard work of Ceylon Indian Congress,
a few lakhs of Sri Lankan Indians are now settled down
in Sri Lanka. They live among the Sinhalese.They don't face
any problems community-wise

If Jaffna becomes an independent state, It would become
a big head-ache for Tamilnadu

In 1983 there was a riot in Sri Lanka.
It occured in Colombo.
How many Indians in India know that the people who were killed in Colombo, thousands of them, were Indians.
There were demonstrations at Chennai in support of the Jaffna Tamils. Nobody cared to know the facts.

Today, the Jaffna Tamils are living very prosperously all over
the world

Every Jaffna Tamil hates Indians inwardly. That is the truth about them.
