Ok so my controller is synced with my wii. It will turn the wii on and it will open the home menu. It also works when I press A when the wii starts up. But My wii controller will not click on any of the links on the main screen. Whats wrong?

my batteries r brand new. the only thing that doesnt work is the links on the main menu to the game, miis, etc.

try to contact the Nintendo company(the number for them is suppose to be on the box or in the Manuals.)
Send it off to them and ask them to check wats wrong w/ it, and pay an addition of 17.99(2yr warrenty)

If the controller did not come with the wii, go to the store you bought it, tell them what's wrong, and chances are that they''ll replace it. If it did come with the wii, call the company (number is on the box), tell them the problem, and they'll guid you through what to do. Good Luck!

Check your batteries. Your batteries could be died. :(
