This is on the mensa site! You need to type it in a special order - not one calculation on a seperate line - it needs to be:
Take 1000, add 40, add another 1000 etc and most ppl will then say 5000!

-1000 + 40 = -960
-960 + 1000 = 40
40 + 30 = 70
70 + 1000 = 1070
1070 + 20 = 1090
1090 + 1000 = 2090
2090 + 10 = 2100
