Always continue taking antibiotics until they are finished. If you stop them now, your system will become resistant to them and you'll need stronger ones (with more unpleasant side effects). Go talk to a pharmacist at one of the 24 hour pharmacies. They will be able to point you to an over the counter remedy.

Keep taking the antibiotics until they are gone.
Today, start eating yogurt with active cultures about 3 times a day.
Anytime you take antibiotics you should eat yogurt.
The antibiotics destroy not only the bad bacteria in your body but also the good ones. The good ones that were in your vagina that kept the yeast from thriving.
It would be good if you could get some plain yogurt and squirt a tube of it up there when you go to bed if you have an applicator. It may even solve your yeast infection.

dont stop taking the antibiotics. if u stop, then what ever u are taking it for will not work, and u will have to go back to the doctor and get some more antibiotics and start all over again. yes, it is a pain that those medications cause yeast infections. u can get the monistat now while ur taking the pills, but there is a small chance of it coming back depending on how many pills u have left. or u can just wait it out until ur done with the pills and then get the monistat. good luck

Keep using the antibiotics. do a vinegar and warm water douche (it will sting a little if your skin is raw) to relieve the yeast. Yeast is just a fungus that is normal in your vagina but gets out of hand when ALL the bacteria is killed (including the good bacteria that normally keep the yeast population under control). I've done it many times throughout the years and it works every time and there are NO ill effects from it and it is WAYYYYYYYYYYYY cheaper than monistat.

In other countries (I know that is vague but I remember it from a presentation) doctors can't prescribe antibiotics without also prescribing probiotics (such as the "active cultures" in yogurt.. you can get them in pill form!)
You should not stop taking the antibiotics before the end time because that could make things worse. (I mean, if you have already started taking the antibiotics, do NOT stop them. You can opt to not restart them once you are done with this ro und)
Get some probiotics and wait it out til the monostat.. Yeah that is kind of a tough situation!
Get your hands on some yogurt if possible.

Do not continue to take antibiotics for acne, I cannot believe anyone would prescribe that for you. Don't take it again either.
Antibiotics really wreck your system, creating an imbalance and you get yeast infections, UTI's, intentine problems, etc.
So, what you need to do is go to the health foods store and get probiotics in the refrig section. I use Renew Life's, has lots of goodies. Then don't eat sugary foods, the bad stuff in your guy feeds off of sugar.

Sounds like a yeast infection to me. And the thing about yeast infections is that while some women get them once in their lives, there are also other women who have recurring yeast infections that happen all the time. It's got nothing to do with being sanitary or anything-it's just that their vaginas a more sensitive to things like perfumed body washes, tight underwear, etc. Your doc will give you all the info.

Ill folks keep talking about Monistat, and this might sound a little strange, particularly coming from a guy, but I've read putting yogurt in the vagina i.e. yogurt with a number of good cultures in it, will quickly return you to shape after the antibiotics. (Just don't use any with fruit at the bottom!) Couldn't help joking but I am serious about inserting yogurt.

I would go to a 24 hour pharmacy tonight, and get some over the counter monistat stuff....and keep taking the antibiotics; call the doctor after the holiday. Or ask the pharmacist because they have heard it all!
