Sometimes a hormone imbalance can cause the periods to be irregular but the only way to know for sure what is going on is to see your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think could be going on.

It doesn't sound normal. I would recommend charting your period on a calendar. Be sure to note any menstrual events for the day. Do this for at least a month (if not more), then take it to your doctor.

Good luck!

its not through have you ever had that problem before if not then you should see a doctor cause you may be loosing to much blood and you should take you some GMC iron pills so you wont feel so weak i had this problem before and i started taking iron pills to keep up my blood level in my body and the reason why i would have my period for so long because i use to go like 3 and 4 months without having one and when i finally did have one it would go so long so i would take iron pills to keep me from feeling so weak
