Mine will never be born. I don't even have an oven to bake cookies. Maybe that's a package deal that I wasn't aware of until now! With my days numbered & my income fixed...if I had to pick one over the other, I'd take the oven over the children. There are plenty of children that are already in this world who could eat the cookies I would bake if I only had an oven to cook them in!

My parents are both dead. But when they were alive they banished me from their homes ten years before their death because of a lie my sister told them about me. I was not surprised because they cared little about seeing me. My sisters were always their favorites because they favored girls. But they claimed to love their grandkids. Their grandkids did not get a chance to see their grandparents again until they were old enough to fly by themselves. They saw them once before they died, so no one baked cookies for them either.

Not me. I don't have any grandkids, yet. Even if I did, I wouldn't see them much. My two oldest children live on the East Coast and I am on the West Coast. Darn...

That's so rough. I did not get to see my grandparents much as a kid because my mom & dad hated their parents.

The irony is that they expect me to be there all the time. I love them so much but hello! They did not set a good example!

I still love my grandparents and as an adult take every opportunity I can to see them.

Merry Christmas!

I don't have any yet (which is a good thing with their present situation) but I am baking them for my daughter & son-in-law & neighbors as we speak. I hope you get to see them soon! Try to have a nice holiday anyway!
