I had my second baby 4 weeks ago - my feet were swollen throughout pregnancy so most my shoes felt tight. I thought this would stop after the baby, but every pair of shoes I try on in the shops are really tight. I wouldnt mind going up a size, its just that Im a size 8 - and size 9 shoes are rare - and expensive

Are my feet still swollen, have they grown or are the shops just making really bad shoes?

I was a size 7 1/2 before I got pregnant with my first daughter and my feet grew during the pregnancy to a size 8. That was 8 years ago and I am still a size 8. I don't know why this happens but I do know that others have had this happen too. I think your feet just grow.

My feet grew a 1/2 inch after my second pregnancy and never returned. I had to buy all new shoes. :-(
