My house smells like Yule Tide, with pine tree scent and wood burning in the fireplace, pumpkin pies baking, cinnamon and cloves, ginger, the scent of cold outside, the smell of turkey tomorrow, as well as the usual smells that make a house a home, which for our house includes the scent of a great and very clean doggie, the scent of our son just after he has taken a nice shower, and the delicious scent of my husband's cologne, Fierce by Abercrombie and Fitch, which he wears when he wants to drive me wild!
Happy Yule to you and to all!
Blessings,
Lady Morgana )0(

Wow, it sounds great at your house! I use to get real Christmas trees that had that good pine scent, now I just spray the scent on my fake tree! Im not into sweets, so I dont bake. Tomorrow, I will have a ham in the oven with sweet potatoes, and casserole dishes, but thats about it! I love the real smell of Christmas trees, but we have a new puppy this year, and we though we better put up our 41/2 ft. tree on a stand so the ornaments dont dissappear one by one. I am lighting scented candles tonight though when we open gifts. Have a Merry Christmas!

If candles do not work, and if you tried those smelly stick things, (the sticks in a small glass filled with great smelling liquid) then you could try baking things like cinnamon cookies or pies. Haha. It would just smell for one day and probably only in the kitchen. Christmas trees smell great! But not like cinnamon smell, of course. A gingerbread house might do you good, for a short amount of time at least.

LOL at the Pine Sol. Why not just go get a few pine brnaches for the smell?
yes, my house finally smells like Christmas - got the tree up yesterday, and we made cookies this evening.
Tomoorw it will smell like tree, cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate and later on, roast.

Don't need the pine-sol :-)
I have some candles from yankee candle going, I made a ham and feeling under the weather I'm lying down on the couch again. Sounds like you've got it all down pat.

Right now smells like a cafeteria. My wife make some typical Christmas "frituras: bacalaitos, empanadillas, alcapurrias...." and the smell is all over the place. Now she's working with the cookies.
Yeah! I love the kitchen at Christmas.
Feliz Navidad!

Haha, pine-sol smells like chemicals. Try going to Macy's or somewhere that sells decorative Christmas stuff, they have things that are like bags of pinecones that smell like Christmas. Or get a real Christmas tree.

Mine smells like Myrrh, vanilla, a bit of cinnamon, and the applewood fire I have burning. And some cheaper version of Baileys, now. Yummm.
Pine-Sol will muck it up - don't do it!
