I appreciate your answer. Furthermore, the tuition is about $50,000 for the two years part time. Do you think that USF (not UCSF) is priced too high for it's caliber?

Neither school is ranked (so looking at US News won't help). None of the CSU schools are very selective or very good. As a University, the University of San Francisco is much more respected than SFSU -- so it is a better choice.

My opinion is that it is not worth getting a full time MBA from an unranked school. USF might be good for a part time program -- especially if someone else is paying for it.

If you want to go full time, don't do it unless you can get into a ranked program. In California, that limits you to Stanford, Berkeley, UCLA, USC and UC-Davis.

I'd say go to US News & Reports and see which one ranks higher. Then check the difference in tuition, check their ratio of grads obtaining jobs than decide.

By all means go to USF! SF State is now called "Little Palestine."
