okay so i am about a week or so late...i ovulated ( or so i think) about 2 weeks ago.. for the past month or more ive been REALLY tired and cant fall asleep all at the same time. I have nausea alot but i never throw up. I spotted about two weeks ago but it was only for a day. I also switched pills recently... is it the new pill or am i pregnant?
also note: that i swtiched from ortho cept to loestrin 24
and i had to double up once or twice because i missed a pill ( which my doctor said is ok).
the nausea is BAD
i've been nauseous for over a month.

i'm asking people who HAVE experience to get an idea of what to do. dont be a b*tch and smart*ss okay!?!
anyways, i know i have to get a blood test done.. it's just they are closed the next two days and i just wanna be on the safe side. (no drinking, not taking the pill (because that can hurt the baby) etc)

yes i know some about this.
many times a period can be late due to switching to a different pill (when i did it made my period stop all together for a month)...also the nausea and spotting you described could have been from the changing of the pill...though i have never taken the exact pill you are on i know of many that do that...cause nausea and other side effect.
it is impossible to know for sure but that could be part of it.
i would def. take that test when you can...if you do not want to wait till your doc. opens back up from the holidays (which i understand...sitting and waiting sucks!) i suggest buying a home preg. test...first response....and see what your results get...being a week late i would think it would show up positive results by now.
but if you are not preg. and these symptoms continue...you may want to have your doc. switch you to a different pill...one that does not react to your body with these type of side effects...cause many times the side effects can last for months until you get used to it.

I think if you only ovulated 2 weeks ago but you've been nauseous for over a month, then it's probably not pregnancy. You could take a HPT just in case or see your doctor, but it's probably your body adjusting to the new pills. If it doesn't get better, you may want him to change your pills once again.

It could be the pill or that u are late because it was stress. I was late and it was stress (we are moving). Have u taken a pregnancy test? You can go to the doctors and get a blood test done they are accurate. I hope this helps.

Well ya it might be the side affects so u should call ur doctor and see if those are the side affects or look on the bottle. And how long have u been taking the pills? have u been naused before taking the pills? if so then u could be really sick or pregnent

Your pill could be giving you side affects, as your body is adjusting to it. It can throw your periods off for awhile too. You still might want to take a pregnancy test though, just to be sure.
