I have a kia pride saloon. It It wouldnt start.?

I have checked ignition and fule. It has a faint orange spark without an audible tick. Please help

Simple things first.

Is it not in gear? Gears in neutral or Park position?

Foot on brake while starting?

Do the lights work --- Battery good?

What was fixed recently? Who performed the work?

Since the spark is weak, try a jumper wire from coil output to a gap [such as the same test spark plug], if weak spark there, then verify full 12V at coil, if voltage present, replace coil. If not 12V, follow wiring diagram back, may have bad ballast resistor. If coil spark good, check cap/rotor for corrosion & check plug wires for less than 3,000 ohms of resistance per foot of wire.
But a weak battery or dragging starter may also be the issue. Try jumping it from a running vehicle.
