Liberman is a true patriot who knows exactly what the Liberals are doing.

Anyone who takes Lieberman seriously is out of his mind.

No, it's not unpatriotic to support rule of law, or be against mass murder.

What's unpatriotic is to spew anti-American trash that says that people speaking their concsience is unpatriotic.

First, let me begin by saying I do not know exactly what Senator Leiberman said or did not say. However, if he did say that, I am sure Democrats who have issues with the war will condemn him and those who do not will agree with him. For many Americans it is not at all acceptable to oppose military action while our troops are in harms way. PERIOD. To do so is unpatriotic regardless of that persons political affiliation. I tend to agree with the Senator on that issue. If our representatives voted to send the in the troops, everyone should support their effort until victory is achieved and keep their criticism to themselves. Displaying dissatisfaction with the Commander-in-Chief or denouncing military actions or personnel or publicly declaring that we cannot win or have lost will provide aid and comfort to the enemy, prolong the battle and cost additional American lives and treasure. It simply should not be done.

Merry Christmas!

This is common neo-con diatribe. Lieberman pretends to be a Democrat but has been with the Republicans on most issues. His party basically tried to get rid of him due to it.

Personally I've always supported the war (but not the moron that is running it) yet have always thought it was patriotic (very American) to exercise one's right to disagree with government policy. Neo-cons that try to paint anti-war protesters as traitors are just extremists that don't understand what "Freedom of Speech" really means.

Lieberman, like many modern conservatives, are clueless about core American principles. Here's a refresher from a Republican general's perspective on things said like that by any American....

[ Here in America we are descended in blood and in spirit from revolutionists and rebels - men and women who dare to dissent from accepted doctrine. As their heirs, may we never confuse honest dissent with disloyal subversion. ] - Republican President & Five-Star General Dwight David Eisenhower

It's about time Lieberman stops calling himself a Democrat and formally joins the Republican party.

Dissent is patriotism.

Lie.....ber...man is an idiot.

We always need dissent in this nation, or we might as well give up on freedom and liberty.
