Don't have the xp disc, but the files are all stored on the computer right?

it's actually i386 ... but lets not split hairs ... depends entirely on what's wrong with your computer .... and usually no you can do a repair from the i386 folder ...there are no cab files or installation files in there ... try System Restore ... Good Luck

If you have to fix it then your files are corrupted . That should be i386 if I remember correctly go to microsoft.com and see what they can do or find a XP disk somewhere borrow a friends if necessary .Then run it and select repair when prompted .
