Does the morning after pill really work?? I took mine one hour after we had sex and I took the second pill 12 hours after the first one. I had my period that day and it had just begun..I think it was my third day. He came inside me and then we bought the pill right away. My period never comes on the same day of each month, it's always random. How would I know whether I'm pregnant or not?? i'm waiting for my period to come!! I am desperate..and scared. plus I'm 18 and he's 32..

The morning after pill is pretty effective in preventing pregnancy, and if you have had your period since having sex then you are probably fine. If it has been more than 28 days since your last period you can buy a test and see what the result is. If you period is usually irregular then you're probably making things worse by stressing about it.

In the future, use a more reliable method of birth control and you won't be so worried.

First off, don't freak out until you are for sure you missed your period and take a pregnancy test. Second - if you are so concerned about the age difference, I suggest you fins a guy closer to your age. Maybe this is just a warning to let ya know not to be screwing around with much older men .... and use protection if you can't handle the outcome.

Um, was the comment on your age really needed?
Weird..........

Anyways, the morning after pill is not 100 percent reliable. The only way you can find out if you ended up pregnant is to take a test a few weeks from not to find out.
Good Luck

well although your an adult your not acting like one.
I'll admit Im only 18 and Im pregnant.
But if your ont going to be happy if you get
pregnant which it seems like you arent as your
desperatly trying to prevent it I suggest you get a good
birth control pill and start using it religiously

And theres little to no chance your pregnant the
morning after pill is like 99% effective if taken within
12 hours of sexual intercourse. I think.

Unprotected sex isn't good. The age difference isn't all that good either.

Call a Planned Parenthood clinic, ask to talk to a nurse or doctor and question them on what measures you took and what's happening now.

Arrange a checkup with your doctor if you want to be absolutely sure.
