Shame on the people of Venezuela for letting that thief spend even one more day corrupting a nation as fine as yours. Fat, stupid, obnoxious, these are just a start of how much I despise this man.
Kudo's to Spains King Juan Carlo, for dressing him down in public. The problem is, he is too stupid to be humiliated by it.
It is an affront to any and all respectable Spanish speaking governments to have this moron out there shooting off his pie hole, but saying nothing intelligent.
The US has a political wannabe that has similar traits as Chavez, as a matter of fact, a lot of Hugo's techniques of reaching out to the under belly of voters have been used by this person. It's doubtful that Hugo's tricks will work in the US, because this politician is hated by most Americans.
You probably have already guessed, that I'm talking about Hillary Rodham Clinton.

He's a pathetic excuse for a leader, he, like many others somehow get where they are simply because they stick a finger in Americas eye, and have no other reason or qualification for being where they are other than that. Unfortunately by the time people figure out that they want more from there leaders than that one qualification they've spent so many years singing this persons praises that they don't want to look stupid for backing him and taking so long to see who and what he really is that they just keep backing him so they don't lose face, and in the mean time he destroys the country, for which they promptly find a way to blame the US.

Some people like him and some people hate him. In my opinion, he is a power hungry crazy guy.
But I can see how he got elected, because of the division of the rich affluent class and the poor in Venezuela. I think there is a need for some social reform to give the working class and poor more opportunities for education, jobs and economic mobility.
I am not saying that the government should impose a communist or socialist system but offer people more opportunity to work their way out of poverty if they want to. I'm against handouts for people that just want to be a bum and get free handouts and not work.
Hugo Chavez will collapse under his own ego and idiocy because he will alienate and piss off a lot of Venezuela's trading partners like he did in Europe.

He's Castro with oil money. Despite his defeat earlier this month where he would have essentially become a dictator for life, he still wields way too much power in Venezuela. It remains to be seen whether the opposition in Venezuela can now continue their electoral success and keep him from retaining power when his term runs out in 2012.

He was democratically elected and seems to be doing a good job with reforms from what I hear. Two big pluses.
He just needs to shut up about America sometimes..

Well, i'm sure he's a nice guy...deep deep down........at least he will be once he stops putting his foot in his mouth, acting like a dictator, eliminating all the media that opposes him, and acts like someone willing to help the people prosper
