Im taking my girl out to Ed Debevics. I have the full menu here:

but I don't know how much I should bring because I have to ask my mom for money but want to ask for a rounded specific amount. Should I be taking the most expensive thing and asking for that much or what? Please help :-\

Personally I'd bring $35 and figure I'd be safe with that, then give the excess back to the mom when finished.

Basically you double the cost of the most expensive thing, then add two drink prices and one appetiser, but with this menue I think you'll be safe with $35. Remember to tip if you have a waiter, that's 15%

If you both order the most expensive appetizers, a side salad each, the ribs platter and dessert....with tax and tip it could be about $75.00. You probably would not order the most expensive items in each group though. However, it's better go with more than you need than too little unless you have a credit card as a back-up.

you should round up to the 2 most expensive things on the menu and round those prices then ask for that much so no matter what you get youll have enough !

You are a disgrace to males! What red blood American guy (don't care what age) would ask Mama or Daddy for money to take out his girl? Grow up! If you have $3 bucks take her to McD or the convenience store and buy her a soda and bag of chips.

Don't learn to live "out of your means". Who suggested that place anyway? She did? Well I'd say let her pay the tab.

Now go take her to a place that is within your means. Better yet go get a job and save money. Stop munching off Mama or Daddy. Grow up dude.

I say $50 is probably a little more than enough, but you could always ask for more and promise to give what you don't spend back. I think your mom will understand. : )

I'd estimate 35-40 bucks. May be lower but plan to spend this because you don't know what her typical choices are.
