I just sent a mass SMS to all my friends to wish them merry XMAS and only my ladies friends answered me back (i forgot to mention i am guy)
So i have two theories
Theory one
Women are too nice by nature
Theory two

The women are polite and like you well enough to respond.
The men think it is girly to respond but will punch you in the shoulder when next they see you.
A couple of the guys think you're too sexy for your shirt. But, they don't want you to know, just yet.
