Well i watched the documentary and i must say it was pretty fair. The reporter wasn't scared to voice his opinion. He said there was an obscured view from the tapas bar to the apartment and also it was dark, and there was a wall a large hedge and a pool between them.
Whilst hearing Gerrys voice saying it was just like having a meal in his back garden......yeah right Gerry!......he walked the distance from the bar to the gate.
His opinion was " 80 steps and that is only to the gate, hardly having dinner in your garden like Gerry said"
He also mentioned that it was very unusual for a paedophile to abduct a child of 3, they would tend to go for an older child or about 10.
Thats just my opinion...be interested in yours, and i await the pros with their rude offensive answers....bring it on!!!

I didnt see the documentary however the points you make are quite good.
I think the thing people need to think about here is that if they believe that Gerry and Kate innocent then they must subsequently believe that a man somehow followed them all week. Discovered that they left the door open though, managed to snatch a girl and then confidently walk down the street carrying her in his arms presumably to his car.
And like you said, the age of the child is seriously in question. A paedo would usually go for someone around 10, not 3.
And if he did want someone extraordinarily young for the purposes of bringing them up as their own (which is the theory going around with the whole abduction to North Africa rubbish) then you would take one of the twins who was still to young to understand anything. Maddie was too 'old' and would have been more difficult to deal with.
............ and thats why I believe the far more likely story of the parents having some involvement than the far fetched story of the mysterious stranger.

kamran, michael w, let's give it a rest UNTIL DEC 27th because that is when the Portuguese Police AND the British police will be interviewing the McCanns and the Tapas bar group.
They have left it for AFTER Christmas.

Why cant people leave that family alone? Every parent makes mistakes. Maybe not as serious as this but mistakes still the same. How is it OK to let children as young as 4 play out in the street? What happens if something happened to them? Would we all be blaming the parents or making up excuses?. That family need to be left alone and i wish that people like you would GIVE IT A REST. Now I am going to sort out my daughter's presents for tomorrow knowing she is safe in bed. And tomorrow we will pray for that little girl which is what all this is about not a hate campaign towards the parents. Her name is Maddie if you have bothered to remember

Well im not going to be rude and i didnt see the program . We all hope Maddie is found but the parents are to blame.There is loads more to this than we know lets hope she is found safe maybe by her real father.
