In the category that I mostly participate in (cars & transportation) Yes.
I don't answer a question (there) at all if I don't think that I can offer a very good answer, or if somebody has already given the proper/correct/most-accurate answer.
But in P&S.... I don't think that I answer to "win" ... I answer here to participate, contribute, & have fun while doing so.
