I have an external harddrive that i use to store whatever i download on my laptop for space issues. Anyways, i recently 'filled up' the harddrive so i went through it deleting some of the bigger files which i no longer needed. Even after deleting many files it still shows that i have about 2 mb's of space left and won't let me store anything else on it. Any ideas?

Try to defrag the drive.

Start >> Programs >> Accessories >> System Tools >> Defrag.

If it WILL defrag, it will clean up the file tables. If not,try to recover what you can to other media (if you have any, like DVD or such), then slick the drive (Format will do nicely) and start all over again.
