I think Sydney is a lovely name for a male or a female. When I hear it I picture both a female of light complection, light hair, thin pink lips and blue eyes and a male of light to medium complection, darkish hair slicked back, pretty smile, and perfect teeth.
I have thought to use this name on my own baby whether it would be a boy or a girl. I just think it's an absolutely lovely name for either.

when i hear the name sydney i think of a girl that is physically slight but very strong in nature. i think brown or blonde hair. cute personality.

First of all, Sydney can be a boys or girls name. When I think of Sydney as a girls name, I see a beautiful tan blonde girl. When I think of it as a guys name, I see perhaps a muscular tanned blonde guy. I envision Australians I guess when I think of the name Sydney...lol.
