I was wearing pants that were long at my feet and my dogs were in the way and I tripped on my pants and hit my knee on our floor(its concrete right now cause we are going to put carpet or tile down.)
Then my dogs gave me kisses.

Depending what all u did to it..
if u didn't damage anything.. then about 3-4 weeks.. but each day it should be better..
if not .. consult Ur Dr.. for ex rays

bone bruises, depending severity can take 4 weeks to heal.
Because you whacked your knee, which gets so much movement, it is going to hurt for a couple of weeks.
things to watch for: redness, swelling, or if your pain level does not decrease after the first week. Take aspirin or Tylenol regularly for pain management. Aspirin also has a slight anti-inflammatory effect which might help.
...and tell your dogs they shouldn't try to help so much.

it's gonna take as longa s like 1 or 2 weeks ,it's the same thing as with anything else
