I did not give my girls a name that people could use a nickname. Their name is the most important thing they will have the rest of their lives. I mean if you want to name her a nickname then that is what her name should be. I call my girls giving an example ones name is Kara, and I call her Kara buggie, Or Shelby boo. But I always include their name. That is just something that I feel is important. Good luck

You can also try making a nickname out of your personality (i.e Smiley, Sugar, Angel-Face)
Some people even like to be called by animal names and things .. my friend Veronica hates being called Ronnie and V, so most of us call her 'Mouse' cuz she's tiny.
Maybe even after a favorite Disney character? When my sister was younger she watched The Little Mermaid so much that my family called her things like "Ariel'' and "Mermaid" and things like that. Her name's Kylie xD
Nicknames can be made up of sooo much more than a given name!!

My cousin's name is Kaitlyn. We called her Kaitlyn-nator for a while, then it was Nator, and now it's just Nate. I call her Nator-face, though.
