I never have ever taken anything back to a store that I have received as a gift. I am happy with anything that I would get.
At the same time, if someone gets me something that is to big or to little, then yes I will take it back and get something that does fit. One other thing is if it was not the right color, I will go get it in the right color, but not always. I am one of the easiest people in the world to please.

I don't want anything i have to dust or take care of. An exciting gift, which I know I will not get, would be a strand of Mikimoto pearls. I do not take stuff back either. Usually I find a way to use it or maybe if I don't have to display it I can regift it next year. I have family, friends and work friends.

More chocolate! I work in a childcare center, and I got bombarded with it as a gift from all of the thankful parents. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the thought, and I do love chocolate. But I have enough right now to last me until Labor Day!

I haven't received a Christmas gift in about 8 years, so there is no problem returning anything.

I don't recieve Christmas gifts except usually a box with some homemade cookies in it, which I'm tickled pea-green to get. Wouldn't consider returning it.
But this year someone tried to give me a give of a sum of money, and I explained I was sending him a gift of money this year, also, in that same precise amount.
I'm more grateful each year that I don't participate in the gift-frenzy.

Cotton Handkerchiefs, tights, bubble bath, chocolates, slippers, knitwear, etc., the list is endless really, they all go to the charity shop by the end of January.
GIVE ME THE MONEY, and so that I can go shopping in the SALES straight after Christmas, now that's FUN !!!!

depends who was giving it. i'd be pretty upset if my husband or someone in my family got me a gift certificate, but that would be fantastic from anyone else. other than that, it's the thought that counts and i'm happy to get just about anything.

"White Diamonds" cologne/perfume. I really don't like that stuff and for some reason my husband buys it every year. This year, it's going back. I want a Wii. (Some of us never grow up.)
