Congrats! That happened to me the day before my missed period and now I have a 17 month old running around. I, too, felt like my period was still coming on. The next day I took another one and it was a definite positive. Nothing faint about it. Good luck!

Since your period is just now due I would wait another week or so and take another test. I know most at home tests advertise that they can give you definite results before your missed period, but it always best to wait until you've completely missed your period. I know another week sounds like such a long time but if you wait a little while long there should be more HCG built up in your system (if you are in fact pregnant) and then you should know for sure. Good luck!

your pregnant !! :) congrats im sure that will be a great christmas present for hubby you can get false negitives but false positives are very very unlikely that means there was a little bit of the pregnancy hormone that was detected if u try back next week it should show up darker congrats again

Faint positive, usually means that you are prego. Wait another few days and test again, you will get a darker line if you are.
