can someone tell me who would make the playoffs as the last team in the nfc between the saints, vikes, and 'skins if all are 8-8 next week? all 3 teams would be 3-3 in divisional games if this happens. the 'skins have head to head over vikings but they didn't play the saints?

If that happens, then the Saints will be in because their conference record of 7-5 will be better than that of the others, both of whom would be 6-6.

For VGPugs - Divisional records don't matter when you're talking about a tie among teams in different divisions. Since the teams haven't all played one another with one sweeping, then the tiebreaker used would be conference record.

If there is tie breaker between these three:
1) Redskins are out bcause they have to beat Dallass, but if they do beat Dallass (Yea) then they will be 3-3 in division and overall 9-7. If they loose then they are out with a 2-3 division record and only .400 win%
2) Vikes must win next week at Denver to get in with a 9-7. But if they loose with 8-8, they are 3-3 in division and 6-6 in NFC..500 win%
3) Saints must win in chicago to get to 9-7. if they loose with 8-8 record and are also 3-3 in division and would be 6-6 in NFC. .500 win %

So if either both Saint & Vikes win or loose they would be tied at either 9-7 or 8-8 and same 3-3 in division and same win%. the next tie breaker is based on Strength of victories and Strength of schedule.

I dont know those stats you'll have figure that one yourself:

the skins and vikes have to lose for them to get in
i don't now y but the skins own the tie-breaker over them
they have the same in conference record(6-5 minnesota is 6-6)
NO is 1-3 against AFC and WASH is 2-2 against AFC teams maybe that's the tie breaker? i don't know
EDIT:
Craig S is wrong(both are 6-5) but his link helped me find the answer
the answer is in common games
both teams played
eagles(new orleans lost and the redskins won then lost)
cardinals(both won)
bucs(new orleans lost twice skins lost once)
bears(NO plays them on sunday and redskins beat them)
right now against common teams NO record is 1-3 and Wash is 2-2

If the Vikings win there are in even if Washington and/or New Orleans wins
If the Vikings lose and Washington and New Orleans wins then the Redskins are in
For New Orleans to get into the playoffs both Minnesota and Washington have to lose and the Saints need to win.
