Okay, changing my answer after misunderstanding it the first time (thanks for the e-mail):
Parcells has a history of playing with draft picks, so I wouldn't be suprised to see him do something here. I think trading down makes sense if they can find a team that really covets the top choice, but only if they still manage to stay in the top 5 while gaining an extra pick(s). I'd read that Dallas was interested in trading up with their two first-round choices, but their top pick is way down there. Getting two picks is nice, but I think Miami still needs a top-tier guy even if they do trade down.
If they stay at or near the top, then I think Glenn Dorsey or Chris Long. I know their offense isn't exactly stellar, but they definitely need serious help on that D-line. Dorsey would seem the obvious choice given what he's done, but Long wouldn't be a bad choice either, especially given his bloodline. Still, Dorsey was a monster in college, and his physical abilities are tough to pass up.
If Miami does decide to pick on the offensive side of the ball, I think it has to be Jake Long from Michigan. McFadden is a great back, but with Brown, Chatman and Booker already around, I think they've got some talent there and would be better off fixing the line.
My guess is that they trade down if it means still getting an impact lineman on either side of the ball. Failing that, I'd guess that they keep the pick and likely choose Dorsey.

I think they trade it for sure. They need so much help that I think the smartest play is to move down a little bit in the first round and pick up an extra draft pick while their at it. There have been rumors here in KC that the King Carl and the Chiefs are already talking about trading picks with Miami so they can get Jake Long. Makes sense to me for both teams. The Chiefs have 4 extra picks this year - they could certainly trade one of those to move up - and Miami really wouldn't have to fall very far down the first round draft board.

If Bill Parcells is in charge of the draft, they will keep the pick and draft Glen Dorsey. It's true they need help all over the place, but unless they plan to pick up about 35 additional draft picks, they might just as well take the best players available with the picks they have. A strong defensive line will help cover up some of their other deficiencies.

Theyll use the pick...and I see all these Darren McFadden picks with Miami...but Why? Ronnie Brown is a stellar RB....dont need DM...theyll more than likely get Dorsey and upgrade Defense....they have Beck as QB of future...and for the gy who said Tebow, hes only a Soph.

Its pretty certain the 'Fins are going to have that first round pick. Who to use it on is going to be the more intriguing question. Do they try another QB or work on the O-line? Find another offensive weapon or strengthen the defense? Who knows really but the management personnel. Personally I think they need a miracle to go along with that first pick.

they've already clinched the #1 overall pick but i think they should trade it and get a a lower first round pick and two second round picks because they need to get as many players as they can because they need help

They will use it . . . they need it . . . one player can make a difference to a team . . . if he's not another "Look at Me" idiot. I'm pretty tired of all the self promoting players . . . when they learn how to just play football and be more concerned about their team than their own statistics . . .
