So because the media cannot come up with a story about your team and focuses on a team who has a perfect regular season going as well as 3-4 records they can break in the last game its boring? What should he be talking about those teams who have not made the pay-offs and have not decided if they are going to fire a coach or GM or who they are going to get next year? The media goes with the top rated stories that are current and at the moment whether you hate them or not the Patriots are the top story.

YES, it is just a big digusting marketing machine. If not football they would be pusing baby diapers and cigarettes. This is the result of MBA's and accounts who couldn't care less about the product itself. They are interested in profits, the bottomline, earnings per share, and stockholder votes to continue the management team. Football players and teams are commodities they market and squeeze for profits. But isn't that the American way that is being adopted around the world. Marketing and more sales is the world religion. Nothing else much matters. Money is God.

NFL is not a popularity contest.

Any team who plays the best football wins.

There is nothing in Bill Bellichick's job description that says he should be a people oriented coach.

Columnist did make the right lead. Patriots admin should hire a better PR manager to make the team more appealing to the people who have attention deficit syndromes.

No, I think that's just a good example of the lack of ability when it comes to many of Yahoo's alleged sportswriters. Whether it's Dan Wetzel showing how little he knows about baseball or this latest moron just trying to make a story on a slow news day, it's typical of the quality found on Yahoo.

Remember, these guys need to file stories regularly and there's not always a lot to talk about. Sounds to me like this guy was desperate to come up with something for deadline, and this garbage was the best he could do.

Sometimes precision is boring. Sometimes excellence is just plain predictable.

But, it's what makes something the best, like it or not.

It's not the Pats that are boring, it's domed stadiums & fake turf.

the patriots are boring. Who wants to see a blowout? Nobody except for the high and mighty pat fans. Self centered losers

He thinks Bellichick should loudmouth like Terrell Owens and Anthony Smith so the NFL will be entertaining.

These sports columnists are so laughable. Sorry, we will stick to sports, go write about showbiz folks instead.
