I'm 17 yrs old and for the past two years my breasts have felt lumpy and now they are sore. What does this mean? Will they ever stop being lumpy?

I only drink water so I don't think that is what it is.

Unfortunately genetics determine the composition of your breast tissue.
Breast tissue does change depending where in your cycle you are & if, your genetics pre-disposes you to lumpy breast.
*Exercise does seem to help & reduce lumpy breast & make sure you drink enough water.

Breast tissue is different for each person. Some people have tissue that is prone to cysts. They will flare up with your menstrual cycle. If you are having a lot of pain you can go to the doctor and have them drained or removed but they will come back. The best thing to do is to take some aspirin for the pain, ignore them, and wait till they go away. They wont ever stop being lumpy though, sorry.

My doc says breast gets lumpy because of too much caffeine in your body. I don't know if you take lotsa caffeine drink so try limit it. Or you can always go to doctor and ask, no harm right?
