I hope not. The last thing your nation needs is another ignorant evangelical zealot living in the Dark Ages! Have you Americans not heard of the Enlightenment? Do you know not many of your Founding Fathers were Deists?

At this time, probably not, but who can tell what may happen with the other republican candidates, What Huckerbee brought forth is that American does have a large God fearing population who are probably tired of the leftist liberal non-sense displayed by the radical democrats. People like Pelosi and Reed should take note. Now Huckerbee won't get their because he knows nothing about BIG business, has never dealt Internationally, and has no "machine" in DC. You need this to succeed today. The last time we had a Goober with no background, we called him "Carter" and we are still paying the price for that nitwit in the International Arena, does Iran Crisis ring a bell, Carter owned it. So Mike Huckerbee will have to go back to Hope, and when it's all over, in his best Gomer Pyle voice he can say "Gooooooleeeee Sargent Carter, I was almost President, i gotta tell Aunt Bea right now"...........PS, Ron Paul can drop Huckerbee off from his Flying Saucer as he leaves to go back to Oz.

Ron Paul will stay a leech, and could in no way enable pass. Romney could comprehend he's ineffective now. I agree that Huckabee isn't purely the ultimate candidate, however the ultimate against the Democrats - fairly Hillary! it will be a up-hill conflict against McCain, yet Huckabee is triumphing in Texas, which votes on March 4th. pass Huckabee!

Yes, he speaks like Reagan did about a positive and prosperous future. The other candidates keep dumping on him with the stupidest stuff and making themselves look petty and moronic.

These two things can come together to make a perfect storm and put him in office.

I like the guy, he comes off a little goofy at times, but he seems sincere. That goes along way in this country, especially after the last 15 years. I could see him restoring some of America's credibility around the world.

No he won't win. The Republicans only chance is too unite behind Ron Paul. Simply because the Independents will vote for Paul or 3rd party, so its either Paul or a Democrat.

We can only hope, if he is the most moderate of the Conservatives, he gets the job. We cant stand the liberals in office. I am a democrat and there is no one to chose from. All of them talk about Tax increases to handle their "pet projects" and everything they used to get elected.

I am the working middle class and I pay enough, in fact, MORE than enough in taxes

While I hate the thought of voting Republican, I hate the thoughts of paying even higher taxes due to tax and spend policies which the current stable of Democrats support.

His chances are good. Better than Ron Pauls chance of getting at least 5% of the vote.

No. He is the alternative to Rodham Clinton on the Democrat ticket. They are in cahoots. If Rodham doesn't win, the Clintons will bet that Huckabee wins and Arkansas gets to be in the White House again. Dangerous to do this. Don't vote for Huckabee or Rodham Clinton, we will find ourselves in WW III, believe it, to include more racism nationwide.
