Im getting a dell inspiron 1520 laptop for christmas and i wanted to know how i could tell if my parents put something on it to see what websites i go on or something else along those lines.

If your parents did, it would be hidden and you will never find it. "KEYLOGGERS", are designed to be hidden from the user.

So stay out of sites that will get you into trouble with your parents.

ok i dont know what kind of websites u plan on going to and honestly i dont want to know...but i just advise u to erase any bad websites off the history. and better yet stay off the websites...think about it, would u rather go with out porn or lose ur parents trust?

Tell them not to power on the computer, or if they do watch carefully to see if the install keyloggers

get into the control panel and check for the hardware or software installed... the best of way is by reformatting your laptop and all the problems will gone..
