My favorite skillet is an old cast iron job I've had for years! Beats the newfangled no-sticks.

You are so right!!! Nothing ever sticks to them, and they are awesome for frying, stir frys, etc. I love them, except for the weight. I think they beat the new material of any of the new skillets they have now, you can use any utensil on them, and ya never have to worry about some chemical they find that's harmful later down the road! Yahoo for iron pots and skillets!!!

i have a lot of cast iron from a small single egg skillet to a huge chicken frying skillet.

Yep..I have skillets and corn bread casts. I keep them oiled and well seasoned. You're right...beats the heck out of teflon.

I have a 10 inch Lodge frying pan I use only for baking biscuits, can't be beat. Can't use cast Iron on my ceramic stove top,scratches.....

nothing better than cast iron...and scrub it good and heat it in the stove to dry.
