yesterday I couldn't sleep because I forgot the capital of Kenya. I was trying to fall asleep when it suddenly struck me: WTH is the capital of Kenya??? I KNEW it starts with N but I just couldn't recall it...

I didn't get back to sleep until I remembered: NAIROBI for god's sake! How could I even forget???

Do you have any stories to share?

Yes I really hate stuff like that. Last week I forgot to do my homework I told my self to forget about it I would get to it tomorrow eventually it started to creep into my brain and I got up at around 3:00 am to do it.

I have trouble sleeping due to anxiety. Every night I obsess, whether it is that I forgot something, that I wanted to say something and can't remember, I'm worried about work, etc. I started taking Meletonin (sp) a few months ago and it is the only thing I have found that can help me sleep.

Kava (if you have anxiety) is hard to find, but is a natural remedy for anxiety.

Always. I'm a chronic insomniac, so my mind always finds something to gnaw at.

that's funny. it always seems like you have to stop thinking too hard about something to remember it... but you can't stop thinking about it because it's bugging you.
