Newt, Tip O'Neil, Dennis Hastert, Henry Clay, John McCormick, Carl Albert, Sam Rayburn, ..... well, off the top of my head, that's it. I find it interesting that people assume I hate Pelosi just because I asked to have her performance graded. Of course, I do hate Pelosi - but why would you assume that?

She has earned a great big F.
Her original agenda was overly ambitious... but the Congress has done Nothing to improve things for anybody, even the dems! None of it was enacted save the minimum wage increase.
Congress has voted 69 times for some aspect of controling, eliminating, limiting, stopping, or hindering the war in Iraq. And what did we get?
Nothing. None of these votes passed, save a couple that were vetoed long after the President said they would.
So...we all get a huge waste of time at taxpayer expence and the government has become very backlogged in its operations.
Thanks for nothing Nancy...you get an F!

Since I can't name 10 other speakers off the top of my head, I can't really compare her post to others who have held it. Personally, I would do things differently, but I could probably say that for anyone. BTW, can you name 10 others off the top of your head to compare? Seems you would need to have known and cared about previous speakers of the house to get an accurate look at her job performance. Unless you just don't like her because she is a woman, or a democrat. There are people like that, as well. Hope this helps!

Fancy Nancy,AKA "the mask" sucks! I don't know why the Republicans want her to step down! She needs to stay in power w/ her screw ups and her undermining of King Obama! The Liberal-Socialist party is a joke and Fancy Nancy adds to the antics!

She has earned herself an E.
She did not present a good plan to the American People as Newt did in 1995.

She has done the best she can under the rules in Congress in dealing with the obstructionist Republicans and "the Decider (Veto-er)", George Bush. Unlike the Republicans, the Democrats play by the rules. I grade her and the other Democrats a "C" but when they get a super majority in both houses of Congress, I'm sure they will deserve an "A".

As they say on Sesame Street where the characters are more mature and better educated than the Democrat characters in Congress, this is brought to you be the letter F.

I think she needs more time to "personalize" the position. She needs to discover the dynamics of power that work best for her. Men just bully and that works for them but women have to charm and wow and intellectually dominate without being offensive. Remember that it's 435 exceedingly unruly Congressmen that have to be conciliated. I give her a B- and hope to be giving her a solid A in 2 to 3 years.

As low as it gets!
In a communist country Komrad Pelosi would be a real team player. Kommiefornia has elected some real losers including the liberal hiding as a Republican.... Arnold "Kennedy" Schwarzenegger.

From a Republican point of view: A For doing nothing.
But Dems will have a different opinion. They fell for the pre-election political rhetoric hook-line-sinker. Naivety at it best.
